Rodman goal gives Washington Spirit a 1-0 win at Utah Royals

Washington Spirit earned a 1-0 away victory against Utah Royals. Trinity Rodman scored the only goal in the 28th minute. Paige Metayer supplied the final pass at America First Field.

The result came after a match that demanded long defensive spells from Washington. Utah won several corners and kept pressure around the visiting penalty area. The Spirit protected Rodman’s goal through the second half.
